Answer these while you design content: What audience need or issues shall I be solving with my content? If I was in the audience’s place, will I be interested in reading this content? Is the subject line of my email interesting enough to make the reader open the mail?
Some Tips
- List what you want to write in the email. Break it in sequence. Create a storyboard in words. Reduce your write-up up to 30% of its original without losing meaning. Or take help from a good content provider
- Think of a good subject line. Show it to 5 – 10 people. If 50%+ want to know more about it, you have passed. Or else work again. Or take help from a good content provider
- Send a test mail. Where did it land in the Gmail inbox – Primary/ Promotions/ Social/ Trash? If it is not in Primary inbox, work again on the subject line or content. Or take help from a good content designer
