Brands Build Businesses.
Brands are the building blocks of any business. You can assess the health of any business by looking at the brands that make up the business. However, despite such an essential place in the business, it is common to see many good products not reaching their potential place in the market. Why does that happen?
Brands thrive on how their qualities are effectively communicated and how visible they are to potential users. Collectively known as a branding strategy, this creates the crucial difference between a good product and a great brand. Is it so simple?
Not at all. It takes razor-sharp communication about the product’s key qualities that is put across to the users with die-hard persistence and regularity. Despite sounding difficult, it is an everyday day job for a passionate brand owner. Or someone who understands the world of branding.
I am passionate about branding. Are you? If you are, we have a lot to talk about. Get in touch.
And did I tell you? Its FREE for a while!
Background
I am a B. Pharm M.B.A. Having spent most of my 30-year career in pharma marketing, I felt stagnated. Hence, I added a certificate in Digital Marketing from India’s #1 Digital Marketing Institute to be aligned with the changing times. To polish my storytelling skills, I authored a fiction novel and published it in 3 months flat. Communication is my passion and I love speaking, writing and blogging.
Experience
Large brands, small brands, high-end cardiology/ diabetology brands, mass-based cough syrup, digestive enzymes, top-end specialists to non- MBBS GPs, I have seen it all. Brand building is what drives me. It helped, build brands in top organizations like Sun Pharma, Cipla, Zydus, Alembic, etc. In Bangladesh currently as a Country Manager, this new assignment is helping me understand how to manage the overall operation of a pharmaceutical company.
Leadership
From leading a team of less than 100 to multiple teams of more than 600 people, I know the pain points and the pleasure points of the Indian Pharma Field Force. This has always helped me design solutions for them that the teams loved to execute in the field and get visible results
Never-Say-Die
I feed on challenges. Life has never been easy but I enjoy living every moment. And when I get complacent, I challenge myself. Getting a certificate in Digital Marketing at 50 years of age or writing a novel in 3 months flat etc. or taking up an assignment in Bangladesh are the self-inflicted challenges that I have overcome.
